Clay, the all-rounder among building materials

No other building material is as versatile, as easy to work with, and as DIY-friendly—all while being completely ecological.

The advantages:

  • is available in almost unlimited quantities in most regions of the world
  • buffers moisture peaks and thus regulates the indoor climate
  • provides a pleasant living environment
  • is fully recyclable
  • functions entirely without the addition of synthetic or other harmful additives
  • can be reused at any time simply by adding water again

Lime, an ancient building material trending again

Like clay, lime is an ecological building material with many possible applications. It is purely mineral, breathable, and weather-resistant. Furthermore, lime occurs naturally everywhere.

Clay base coat or undercoat serves as a "foundation" and helps to balance moisture peaks in rooms. The humidity remains in the pleasant, health-promoting range of 40 to 60 percent.
