IBO

Independent association researching people, buildings, and the environment.

The IBO performs vital work in research and knowledge dissemination regarding building ecology, as well as the interaction between people and the environment. We are in close contact and regularly exchange information on the latest developments in ongoing research projects.

An Alliance

that we support.

The Alliance for Carbon Removal in Construction, an initiative of the DGNB, is committed to advancing carbon removal and storage as a complementary component of climate protection in the construction and real estate industry. It pools knowledge, promotes innovative solutions, and brings together stakeholders from construction, real estate, research, industry, and energy to develop concrete applications and suitable framework conditions. We are pleased to be a member.

architektur INFORM

Architecture excursions in Vorarlberg, Austria, and internationally

Architects direct immense financial flows with their designs and concepts, steering the development of our living environment and the construction industry, including the materials used. Raising awareness in this area is very important to us, and Brigitte offers a fantastic format for this.

Architecture excursions make it possible not only to view outstanding architecture but to experience it firsthand in the context of current ecological, social, and technological developments. Beyond architectural quality, the focus is on the conscious use of resources. Many of the visited projects set standards in the field of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient construction – from modern timber structures to holistically sustainable building concepts.

Klimacent

Our contribution with regional impact.

We are convinced that the systemic shift toward a climate-compatible, socially equitable way of life and economy is feasible and affordable. As a company, we want to exemplify and promote this stance.

Clay construction and the use of biochar are examples of a climate-compatible lifestyle, which is why there is a dedicated support fund for these within Klimacent.

We would be pleased if you supported the clay construction fund with your Klimacent.

Bioeconomy

renewable, recyclable raw materials

Bioeconomy Austria connects stakeholders from business, research, and practice to advance the use of renewable raw materials and bio-based materials. For us, the initiative is particularly relevant because it supports the transition toward a resource-efficient, circular economy, thereby creating new perspectives for sustainable and future-proof construction.
